Return of Saturn made an excelent start in American Billboards with entering at number #2. Shortly after `N Sync. But this nice entery was had a short life. In the weeks that follewup dropped Return of Saturn very fast in the chart. This happaned because No Doubt didn`t got the hits they hoped for.

Unless this album had no succes, No Doubt recieved several awards for the videos.

Only Simple Kind of Life reached number #33 in the Billboard chart.

No Doubt wanted to prove that they could write songs. This was a main goal of ND. They reached their goal and delived a good written album. But because the songs were dark and hard to connect it made difficult to get hugh hits from it.
