In the fall of 1986, Eric and Gwen Stefani decided to gonna play at a talenthunt. Eric and Gwen played `On My Radio`, witch is orginally from `the Selecters`. After the show, both decided to create a real band.

No Doubt was born on November 29th, 1986 !!

Eric, Gwen Stefani and John Spence played on new years eve party from 1986/1987. Witch was their first preformance.

After played on several parties, No Doubt played their first official show on the March 14th, 1987. In the frontprogram of `The Untouchables` witch were big at that time.

Tony Kanal was in the audience and saw the show. On the second No Doubt preformance he was in the band.

The summer was remember afterwards by Gwen as Forever.

Gwen began a relationship with Tony.

John was the one, who cames on the name : No Doubt, recalling of a favorite phase of John.

In Late December 1987, John Spence killed hisself in a Anaheim park. He had problems that No Doubt did make succes at that time.

No Doubt quit for several days, but decided to continue with the band. They had in mind, that John that had wanted.

The Song `Dear John` was written was John`s Dead as ode on John.

Alan Meade, who was in the band when John dead became leadsinger of No Doubt. Gwen Stefani was still second vocal, since the band started.

Alan Meade left the band, because personal resons. So No Doubt searched for another leadsinger, but never found. And that why Gwen Stefani became Leadsinger.

In that same year, Tom Dumont quit the Hardrock band `Rising` and Joined No Doubt as Guitar player.

Also they recorded in a Long Beach studio the song : Everything`s Wrong. With came on the vinyl `Ska-Face` and later it rerelased on under the name `Ska-Ville USA Volume 3`.

The orginal drummer `Chris Webb` quit the band. So No Doubt started to search for new drummer. Adrian Young a No Doubt fan came in the band as drummer with a lie. Years later he spoke openly over it.

No Doubt still played Ska covers and had less own material. All the Skabands were No Doubt played covers from, were from England.

No Doubt had it`s first television preformance for `the Gig`.

The former years were past and five bandmembers became the No Doubt.

Also a three piece big, horn section survived.

No Doubt finally found a recorded label called : Interscope.

So in October 1991, No Doubt entered the studio for their debut album.

In the studio, Flea from `The Red hot Chilly Peppers` helped with Adrian Young who was for the time recording in a studio. Gwen reminded that the demos turned out a bit crapy but the finishing result was better.

No Doubt celebrates 5 Anniversary !

In March 1992, No Doubt`s selftitled debut released.

The song `Trapped in a Box` became the single of the record.

The Los Angeles radiostation, KROQ didn`t played it all. They even sayed "It would take an act of God for this band to get on the radio".

No Doubt recorded in the summer of 1992, the videoclip. A single version from it never released.

Also No Doubt played this year, their first big tour. They even played for the first time outside California.

No Doubt began with recording again for their second album. The recorded everything from self owned money. Because Interscope wasn`t giving the band money.

Pretty strange years, 1993 and 1994.

No Doubt recorded new songs, but Interscope didn`t wanted to release anything. Also at that same time the toured with older material.

Still recording new songs. This year, No Doubt build a own studio in a garage on Beacon Street Ave. in Anaheim. The home, where No Doubt recorded material was from Tom Dumont.

Also No Doubt played several shows that year.

The relationship of Tony Kanal and Gwen Stefani broke. Gwen started written songs about their breakup. Gwen turned the love song Don`t Speak into a sad song.

No Doubt came to a point when this third album, not become a succes we will stop. See below what happend with that abum.

In the fall of 1994, Eric Stefani quit No Doubt.

Adrian wanted to learn how to read notes.

March 1995, No Doubt released their second album on their own label `Beacon Street Records`.

The Beacon Street Collection :

All problems, between No Doubt and Interscope were solved in ones.

On the 10th October 1995, No Doubt released their third album album.

Tragic Kingdom :

The selling was still disapointing.

In the fall of 1995, No Doubt released the single : Just A Girl.

The requests we massive.

Just A Girl reached 10 in the American Billboards.

Gwen found a new love, called Gavin Rossdale. He`s leadsinger of the English band `Bush`.

In June 1995, Spiderwebs reached number #5 in the Billboards.

Tragic Kingdom, became Double platinum.

November 1996, Don`t Speak reached number #1 in the Billboards

December 1996, Tragic Kingdom reached also number #1 in the billboards.

In the spring of 1997, No Doubt standed all over the world on the number #1 spots.

In the UK, that happend in February 1997. That No Doubt entered the chart at number #1.

No Doubt celebrates 10 Anniversary !!!

In May/June 1997, No Doubt recorded their first official video. In the fall of 1997, the video released under the name `Live in the Tragic Kingdom`.

No Doubt had the tour, of going to studion to studion. In other words, the venues were massive of size.

Tragic Kingdom sold 8x platinum in American Billboards. And 14x platinum worldwide.

No Doubt starting to record their fourth album.

Gwen turned 29 and she felt into a Return of Saturn. A looking back poriod witch she bad about it.

Gwen started to collabrate with much other artists.

To list them : Elvis Costello, Billy Idol and Brain Setzer

In Seprtember 1998, Gwen had colloured her hair Blue and had a blue bra top too. Later recalled by other artists as, Gwen closed the grunge time period.

Much song wroted but no producer. Finally the found Glen Ballard, producer of Alanis Morsette.

Early 1999, a new single released called : New. The song wasn`t a succes. The single was a promotion for the movie `Go`.

Tragic Kingdom has sold 10x platinum witch means it went Diamont.

Gwen recorded a song for Moby`s new album called `Southside`.

A small fall tour stopped the the time of no touring. No Doubt is back on stage again.

No Doubt finally finished their Foruth album.

11th April 2000, No Doubt released their Fourth album album.

Return of Saturn :

Ex-Girlfriend released as single. Unless, the succes didn`t return. It didn`t made the billboards.

Simple Kind of Life released as second single and reached the Billboard chart on number #33.

Bathwater, the third and last single didn`t made the Billboards eather.

After 21 weeks, Return of Saturn was out the Billboards chart and peaked number #2. And is 1,1X platinum

Southside from Moby`s record released as single. It became a hit. It reached number #12 on the Billboard chart.

No Doubt started to create their fifth album. Influenced by Danncehall Raggae music.

Gwen record a track with Eve called : Let Me Blow Ya Mind.

In April, No Doubt took of to Jamaica for recording songs for their fifth album.

In the early fall of 2001, the track of Eve released.

It became it became biggest hit on her record. It made number #3 in the billboards. And number #4 in the UK and also very in the charts around the world.

On the 11th of December 2001, No Doubt fifth album released.

Rock Steady :

Hey Baby became a hugh hit. In the American Billboards it reached number #5.

In February 2002, Hey Baby peaked number #2 in the UK chart. Exact 5 year after Don`t Speak peaked number #1.

Also Gwen Stefani won her first Grammy for the collabration Eve ft Gwen Stefani.

No Doubt celebrates 15 Anniversary !!!

In several countries around the world, the song peaked #1 !!!

21 Weeks is Rock Steady in the Billboards. It haven`t left the Top 50 yet. It`s already 1X platinum, but it will more if this continue.

In June 2002, Hella Good peaked number #12 in the UK chart and number #13 in the American Billboard chart.

Fall 2002, No Doubt are gonna do their second Arena Tour. In 1997, No Doubt did their first Arena tour in support of Tragic Kingdom. The current Arena tour is in support of Rock Steady.

In October 2002, Underneath it all peaked number #18 in the UK chart.

No Doubt got their 5th Top 10 hit with Underneath it All in October 2002. For Gwen her 6th, thanks to the collabration with Eve on Let Me Blow Ya Mind.

In October 2002, No Doubt released the Rock Steady Special Edition. It contains a bonus cd including 7 tracks.

On October 11th, 2002 Certificated RIAA, No Doubt`s Rock Steady 2x Platinum. Rock Steady is No Doubt`s second album that reached a multiplatinum mark. Tragic Kingdom was No Doubt`s first one back in August 1996.

Underneath it All reached in the last weeks of November, Number #3 in the American Billboards. Witch means it became No Doubt 2nd Top 3 hits since No Doubt`s breaktrough in 1996.

The new year is off to a great start. No Doubt have been nominated for 3 Grammy awards - Best Pop Vocal Album for Rock Steady, Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal for "Hey Baby" and Best Dance Recording for "Hella Good". The awards ceremony will take place Sunday, February 23 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

And if that not all, even people who worked with No doubt are nominated for Grammys.

No Doubt would like to congratulate Nellee Hooper and Roger Sanchez for
their Grammy nominations.

Nellee was nominated for the "Producer Of The Year" for the 5 tracks he
produced with the band on Rock Steady (Hella Good, Detective, Running, In My
Head and Rock Steady) as well as for the work he did with Lamya.

Roger was nominated for the remix he did of Hella Good in the "Best Remixed
Recording, Non-Classical" category.

But that not all. After No Doubt played the show in Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, many fans suspected a rest period from No Doubt. Well, things changed. No Doubt gonna play at Superbowl on Sunday 26th January, 2003. Witch will be their first performance this year. Along with that, it`s America biggest tv show on the television.

In February won No Doubt a Grammy Award in the catagory "Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group" for "Underneath It All".

In July went "Singles 1992-2003" 2x platinum.

August won No Doubt 2 MTV VMA Awards for "It`s My Life".

"What You Waiting For" releases in October. Witch is the 1st single from "Love Angel Music Baby". Witch released a month later.

Gwen Stefani appeared on the cover of the rolling Stone in January.

Gwen performed at the Grammy`s in February.

At Billboard Hot 100 reached Gwen Stefani number #1 with "Hollaback Girl" in May. Witch got beaten bu Mariah Carey`s "We Belong Toghetr" the following weeks.

Also went "Love Angel Music Baby" 2x platinum in May.

Gwen won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Breakout, Female and Choice Collaboration "Rich Girl"

Gwen debuted her L.A.M.B. fashion line at New York's Fashion Week.

In December, Gwen Stefani officially became the 2nd most succesfull artist from 2005. Just behind Mariah Carey.
