Last night all of us in the band and a bunch of our friends had a great time seeing Madness play at the Unversal Amphiteater in Los Angeles. We were fortunate enough to meet Madness before they went on stage. They were all very cool to us and they sounded perfect. Gwen, Tony, Adrian, Gabe, and Eric managed to push their way to front of the pit, where Adrian displayed his finest skank moves. We`re all looking very forward to next Saturday when we play in Hawaii with Madness (plus the Vandals). |

Elvis Costello has always been big inspiration to us, and I recall that anytime a conversation with our Labal came up regarding producers, Elvis was at the top of our list. Unfortunately we were always told that he`d never be avialble for us. That all changed this week. Elvis came down to the new band house where We`ve been working on our next CD. He helped us work up a version of a song he wrote for us (to be recorded for a film soundtrack). Thursday we recorded it down at Ocean Way in Hollywood, and Friday we mixed it. The Exprience was great for us; the ong turned out very, very, well. As soon I have definitive film and soundtrack info I`ll post it here. Also as soon the Photo Journal section is set on this site, we`ll be post photos form the recording session. |

I was in Tower Records last night and finally saw our Limited Edition Orange Crate on sale. It`s a box set of containing the "Live from the Tragic Kingdom" concert video cassette, "The Beacon Street Collection" CD, an exclusive poster and an exlusive sticker. There were only 8000 of these box sets released, each numbered from 1 to 8000. In drwing between band members , Tony got #1. We enter the studio this afternoon to record a song Elvis Costello has written for us entitled "I Throw My Toys Around". Elvis is producing, and I`ll give a report on what the experience was like over the weekend. |

For those of you who will be going to one of our upcoming Hawaii shows, there is a venue change. The May 2nd show in Oahu will now take place at RICHARDSON FIELD near Honolulu. For more detailed info, check out the Goldenvoice web site. On Friday April 17th, Gwen recorded a duet with Brain Setzer for his upcoming CD. I`d like to suggest a couple of great N.D. Sites for you to check out (you can also see these at our links page) : No Doubt Video Image Gallery and The Doghouse. These are two incredible sites! |

Welcome to the new Official No Doubt Web site! First of All, some very cool things here are still under construction. If you continue to check in during the next few weeks, I promise you`ll be pleased. We`ll be adding a ton of new merchandise. We finally have a FAQ page. The Tour History , which lists every No Doubt show ever played, has updated. I`ve learned enough html to update this info page myself with various bits of news about what we`re up to, and my changes here will be frequent. My favorite new page here is the Photo Journal. This contains our own personal photographs of what we`re up to, with clever captions to explain the context. You`ll be able to get a visial look at the process of creating the next No Doubt CD as we do it. We`ll try to update the photos once every two weeks or so Also if we don`t provide enough content here, there are hundreds of fan websites to dicover at the links page. "The Doghouse" and "No Doubt Video Image Gallery" are incredible sites that I Highly recommend to any N.D. fan. If you have a relevant site, please join our link exchange. No Doubt is coming to Hawaii ! Friday May 1 we play at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului, Maui with the Vandals. And on Saturday May 2 we play at the Turtle Bay Hilton in Oahu with the Vandals and Madness (that`s right, Madness, with all orginal members!). For more detailed info, check out the Goldenvoice website. Next week a log time dream of ours will coming true. We`re going to record a song that Elvis Costello has written for us. He`ll be coming to LA to produce the song with us and it should turn up on a film soundtrack in few months. |
