there is a tv sighting i wanted to quote,on MTV Europe during the advertisment break i saw a special one for the entire collection of "a special christmas" or so .It's a 4 cds collection and they show some video clips and of course the "oi to the world "'no doubt song was there to illustrate the advertisement.I have to say it was the first time i caught it on MTVE.. that's all i can say!

The Hitkrant in Holland has every year a few pages of the news that year. This year in May, they have a little article about the Showcase that Started in April from the music channel TMF. It shows that No Doubt was the biggest thing in the First Showcase.

No Doubt was on MTV Europe(on saturday 12.23.2000). Ulrika announced No Doubt's Ex-girlfriend on 1.30 P.M GTM. They showed a half-hour behind the scene shot of the cool Ex-girlfriend video. It was really worth waiting to see No Doubt on t.v(for the europeans who waited for so long to see No Doubt on mtv europe). Also on sunday at 3.30 P.M GTM, No Doubt was again on the mtv. First a little interview with gwen and her fight scene(in the ex-girlfriend video) was shown in the action catagorie.

In Polish magazine "FAN magazyn" there's an article about My VH1 Music Awards. There's also a little pic of Gwen and Macy Gray backstage. It's very cool!

In the list of 30th of Decmber 2000, Southside standing on number 13 and in total 9 weeks in list.

In Spin Magazine:
Morgan(the girl from Kittie): That song has got to be about Gavin!
Mercedes(another girl from Kittie):yeah, I heard he's cheating on her though.

I saw No DOubt at KROQs Alomst Acoustic Xmas. They were rad. Gwen cam out looking as bitchin' as usual in a red Santa cape and Adrian as uncovered as usual. Gwen sang Southside with Moby. The show was just great. No DOubt was the 3rd to last band and after they came out, no one sat down again. They were great.

omg!! I went to both nights of the kroq acoustic christmas, it was sooooo good!! each band only got to do like 4 songs, but Saturday No doubt did 10 and Sunday they did 9.. it was soo great! both nights they played oi to the world, bathwater, sunday morning, just a girl acoustic, don't speak,new, simple kind of life, exgirlfriend and excuse me mr and spiderwebs for their ending song.. gwen even brought out toms lil baby! aww.. (his doggy vinny) it was soo greaT! Gwen looked REALLY cute. she also came out and did southside with moby both nights.. well if aanyone wants more details just e-mail me, bye bye!

ENERGETIC! Is all I can say! Gwen wore a cute little tube top that was plaid and wrapped like a present! She had on loose pants and some Doc's, along with a red coat with fur lining (santa claus looking). During the performance, Tom's dog, vinnie, came on stage! He just walked on the stage and started looking around. Awwww! Well, anyways, they played a great and gwen's vocals were so amazing in the first two songs! Anyways, the set list is as follows:

In the December Issue of `Aloha` a dutch magazine, they have this month a article about every album that came out this year. No Doubt with Return of Saturn is standing in that really big list.

Also the monthly magazine `Rock Sound`, No Doubt is standing two times in the readers letters. One of those two letters has a drawing from Gwen. It`s the Gwen with Pink hear. Also the drawing has the new No Doubt from the new album.
The `Rock Sound` is the December 2000 Issue.

Weirdest No Doubt sighting I have ever had! I was watching Encino Man (earlier Brenden Fraiser flick). In the high school, when Dave goes to tell Robin about the cave man he has found...walking in the background, (and earlier in the beginning of the scene) is a guy with long hair, with a No Doubt shirt on! :-) Dunno how I saw that, but i think it still qualifies as a sighting!

There is a interview featuring gwen in the january issue of dolly and there is also a competition to win a rubber ducky (i.e bathwater) signed by gwen!!!

In `Charts` a dutch magazine for the charts in Holland, there is a little article about Moby. They say`s that Moby does a several numbers with Guest artists and Gwen from No Doubt was including with the song `Southside`. There was no sign of Southside being a new single of Moby. Charts is free to get, by almost every normal CDshop in Holland.

The December issue of Esky has an A4 poster of Gwen and the current issue of Massive (the HMV mag) has a short review of No Doubt's performance at the Livid festival plus 2 pics of Gwen. The current issue of Aussie Rolling Stone has something about Gwen and Moby in it.

I got a chance to go to the My vh1 awards, so i went in the sole purpose of hopefully meeting no doubt. and well at first i didn't think i would but then tehy popped up on the Preshow screen and i figured if their outsdide then they should be in soon so i bolted to the lobby and just as i was about to give in to the fact that maybe they were already inside by the time i got down there in tehy walked, it was so amazing, I got Gwen to sign the Cd i had brought with me and take a picutre with me, which i just love, i didn't have time to talk with them ecuase they had to leave, i don't think many people got to say hi or anything like that becuase they were a in a rush to their seats. I wish i could have gotten all of them to sign the cd and get picutres with them and tlak with them but alas, they had to go. but im happy i atleast finally met Gwen, also they preformed"bathwater" extremely well and i took picutres of them preforming, also some of red hot chillipeppers. I just really loce them and they put so much effort into supporting there fans.

Last week No Doubt was several times on TMF.

At first, they`re was a commercial playing with `Live Request` between KC&Jojo, Dire Straits and NO DOUBT. They played in the commercial a little shot of Don`t Speak from the video `Live in the Tragic Kingdom`. This commercial played on to the 30th of November.

Monday
At second No Doubt was the program `Back to Back` on Monday evening with Don`t Speak and Simple Kind of Life, this rerun the next morning

Wednesday
No Doubt was on `TMF Late` with Live Request first review of concert with one song : Just A Girl. Also that day No Doubt was on `TMF Factory Facts` witch is musicnews. They show Just A Girl to attend `Livbe Request` countdown the next day.

Thusday
In the morning they rerun the `Factory Facts`.
That evening thay showed the concert with the most votes in `TMF Late`.
This is the official votes of Live Request :
KC&Jojo - third with 8 % votes
Dire Straits - second with 27 % votes
NO DOUBT - First with 65 % votes
After that they played one and half Hour No Doubt with `Live in the Tragic Kingdom` witch was normal version. Not the Clean vesion.

On December 16, and 17 (Saturday and Sunday) No Doubt will be performing at KROQ's Acoustic Christmas!! Also scheduled for both nights are: Deftones, Incubus, Weezer, Papa Roach, and Moby! (extras on Saturday: At The Drive-In, Coldplay, Fuel, and 3 Doors Down...extras for Sunday: Disturbed, Everclear, Green Day, Linkin Park) You people in California are really lucky! No Fair! ^_^

At first on Monday I saw`the commercial of `Live Request`. That commercial played until Thursday the 30th of November. No Doubt was in the middle of it.

Program - Back to Back : No Doubt was on that program on Monday too. I only saw Simple Kind of Life, from the two videoclips. On Tuesday they Rerun the program and I saw that those videoclips we`re on: Don`t Speak and Simple Kind of Life

Factory Facts - On Wednesday No Doubt was on `Live Request` Facts, the only played live number of the three other bands.

Wednesday - Review of how may votes : 41% - Voted for No Doubt was 1 of the 3.

Yesterday - Thursday the 30th of November 2000, No Doubt WON Live Request with 65% and TMF played the video `Live in the Tragic Kingdom`. It was 1 and a half hour No Doubt.

This all was played on TMF last week from `Monday 27th of November to the 30th of November 2000`.

on november 7, i went to watch trl from the street because gwen was going to be there.after the show, i waited for a couple hours at the backdoor of mtv studios, and she came out and took pictures and signed autographs. another extra little bonus is that she had hottie gavin rossdale with her! she was in a rush because she had to fly back to england with gavin, but she was very patient and took pictures with everyone. i got to talk with no doubt's tour manager and he told me interesting things about the band. I dream of meeting the whole band some day.
