Details : Gwen is a Police fan in her teens and she got the change to meet Sting from the Police and ask him for an autograph. This happened in 1983.

Now 20 years later, Gwen growed out to a Rock Star and had several hits with No Doubt and two hits with Collaborations.

In January 2003 did No Doubt a performance on the Superbowl XXXVII Half Time show. The first song that No Doubt played was No Doubt`s own Just A Girl. The second song, was with Sting (former member the Police) on the song Message in a Bottle. This was the first time, that Sting and Gwen collaborated on a song. But a couple of months later on March 10th, Sting and Gwen collaborated again. This was at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction. This was also the performance where the Police played for the first time since many years after they brokeup. Gwen not only collaborated on the song Every Breath You Take but also inducted the Police into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
