So sad to lose such a great artist of our time. Would have liked to see him perform again, there was no one like him.

No Doubt Comeback Album Delayed Until 2010

No Doubt have ruled-out releasing a new album next year, telling fans there will be no new material until 2010.

Gwen Stefani and band mates announced recently that they had got back together and would be touring in 2009. But speculation that an LP would also be recorded to coincide with the live dates has now been quashed by drummer Adrian Young.

"We've been working on a new record off and on now for a bit of time, and we're going to continue to work on a new record next year." Young tells MTV.

"We're going to start touring in the spring of 09 through the summer, and we're going to continue to work on music while we're travelling. [We'll take] a mobile studio on the bus and eventually get to a new No Doubt record."

Gwen Stefani Poster in Transformers Revence of the Fallen

The summer block buster movie Transformers Revence of the Fallen does have a scene where you can spot a Gwen Stefani poster. Allthrough they don`t show Gwen`s head in the poster. You can still recognize it. The poster does contain the black and white photo of Gwen that is on the cover from Harajuku Lovers DVD. The scene where it is init. Is when the dorm room get introduced. The 1st room they enter. It contain a few other posters. But Gwen Stefani`s poster hangs in the middle. So if you check out this movie in the theater. Watch closely that scene. It`s early in the movie.

No Doubt Finds Inspiration On The Road

The regrouped No Doubt opted to tour before recording a new album in order to jog the band's -- and particularly singer/lyricist Gwen Stefani's -- creativity. And so far, band members report, the strategy seems to be working.

"We definitely feel on top of our game right now," bassist Tony Kanal tells Billboard.com. "We feel really good about playing together again, and I do believe that's going to lead to a very inspired record as soon as we're done with this tour."

Guitarist Tom Dumont adds that "the proof will be in the product, in what we produce, in the album. But I think (the tour) was the right move. The good thing is we're playing together and we're having fun...kind of recharging our confidence and getting ourselves to a place where we're excited to do it and hopefully Gwen figures out what to write about."

It was Sefani's acknowledged writer's block during two sessions last year that spurred No Doubt to go on the road before recording its first album since 2001's "Rock Steady." The tour, No Doubt's first in five years, kicked off May 2 and is booked until Aug. 12 in Honolulu, but the group isn't committing to a studio date just yet.

"I don't think we'd do that to ourselves," Kanal says. "I'm sure we're gonna want to decompress for a week or so after the tour, then just get on the phone and say, 'Everyone ready? Is it time to get together and start working?' We're definitely not going to put pressure on ourselves. It's gonna happen when it happens."

Kanal adds that expectations the group would do some writing on the road have proven "over-ambitious," but he's keeping a portable recording studio on his tour bus "just in case something can happen."

"It depends on the album, but it usually takes us about a year" to record, Dumont says. "There's been a lot of musical ideas; really, the dry side has been lyrically. The plan is to get to work in the fall when we get home from the tour. We hope to have (an album) out some time next year, but I don't know how long it will take."

No Doubt has been taping and filming each of its shows, and Stefani's brother Todd has been capturing offstage footage as well. But Kanal says so far there are no plans -- yet -- for a live album and/or DVD from the tour.

"It's a different world now," he says. "You look out there and you can see so many people filming with their cameras nowadays. I can go on YouTube and see last night's show if I want to. It's out there. A full-production DVD is...not something we've talked about for this tour, but it would be nice to document it on a real level."

Replacement of Singles Theme

Regarding the NDIFC Awards. I`ve decided to the replace the singles theme by the new Love Angel Music Baby Theme. This album has recieved a lot of the respect from fans during the voting. I won multiple times. I decided to replace a theme that wasn`t working as it should be. The Singles theme wasn`t popular by visitors. In the timeframe it also isn`t a big step from going from the Singles in 2003 to Gwen`s 1st solo album in 2004. Also the album has a number #1 song (Hollaback Girl). So even a lot of people will reconize that. I placed photos from that video. I`ll hope you like it.

Just A Girl Fan Footage

We want to thank all of the fans that created their own versions of the "Just A Girl" video for our summer tour.  The submissions were amazing!  As some of you may have noticed, we have not been showing this footage during the live show.  Unfortunately, and after a number of attempts to incorporate the video into the production, it didn't work as we had hoped and so the decision was made to move forward without it.  We're so fond of the footage that we've decided to post the full version here for all of you to enjoy.  Thanks again to everyone that took the time to be a part of this video.

Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers Brand To Open First Free-Standing Store in Asia

TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Fashion guru Gwen Stefani not only transcends the music and fashion industry, her love for Harajuku fashion style in Japan has culminated in the launch of her accessories apparel brand "Harajuku Lovers" in 2005. With great Taiwanese consumer anticipation, "Harajuku Lovers" is finally opening its flagship store in May. Located in Taipei's fashion pioneering Xinyi District, this will be the brand's first independent store in the world.

Gathering of Global Fashion in Taiwan

Situated on the Western Pacific Rim, the island nation of Taiwan is an important hub of transportation. With rich island culture and characteristics, the people of Taiwan have a high level of acceptance for new things; hence Taiwan has become the distribution center for diverse culture and global fashion.

According to report, the ratio of domestic sales and imports for the clothing industry is roughly 4:6, with imported clothing being in the majority. In addition, Taiwanese people's willingness in trying new things has resulted in the conglomeration of diverse international brands. Whether it's the hippie, or the extravagant fashion style, are all widely accepted in Taiwan.

Recently, the fashion apparel expenditure of the Taiwanese public is on the rise, with annual sales of between NT$150~170 billion. Therefore, the distributor in Taiwan imported Gwen Stefani's own brand "Harajuku Lovers" from the US, and opened up a store in Taipei's Xinyi District (Taiwan). The store is the brand's flagship store in Asia, bringing a unique mix and match Japanese Harajuku fashion to the vibrant streets of Taipei.

Distinctive Style and Celebrity Endorsement

In December of 2009, Harajuku Lovers doll fragrance was launched in Taiwan, and it became an instant hit with its adorable appearance, and was collected by many Harajuku Lovers followers. This year, the Harajuku Lovers garment, bag and watch will be introduced to Taiwan. In terms of tailoring and pattern, the design retains the essence of the Harajuku style; together with bold and imaginative use of colors, Harajuku Lovers is set to become yet another fashion statement in Taiwan.

Following in the footsteps of LAMB, Gwen Stefani's fashion brand Harajuku Lovers once again comes to Taiwan. With Gwen Stefani's distinctive style and trend setting fashion sense, Harajuku Lovers is set to bring about a new American fashion trend and street culture in Taiwan.

Launch of Harajuku Lovers in Asia as Market Test

Taiwan is known as the fashion distribution center in Asia. By selecting Taiwan to open its first store in Asia, Harajuku Lovers perceives great importance in Taiwanese people's consumption power and high level of acceptance for fashion. In addition, Harajuku Lovers intends to use their Taiwan flagship store as the springboard to the rest of Asia.
