A review of the movie Go!:
Review written by: Patrick Larsen, zzap@hotmail.com
Was I exited or what? Finally, it was possible for us poor guys living in Sweden to see the new movie Go! It had its premiere on Sep. here in Sweden, almost 6 months after its premiere in the US. As most of you knows, ND contributed with one song to the soundtrack "New". I guess that was the main reason why I went to see the movie. I don't know if I even would have taken notcie of it otherwise. But now in hindsight, I must admit that it's probably one of the best movies I've ever seen, and I mean it! If your missing out on this one, I promise you will be crying blood for the rest of your life! The movie have been called "A Pulp Ficton for the younger generation" here in Sweden, and recieved all the best ratings in all of the magazine. The story itself is about a couple of teenagers, and during the film you can see the story from different perspectives. One chick is working at a grocery store. This girl is like really broke, and is about to get thrown out from her apartment unless she pays her rent. Another guy working there offers his shift to her, and she accepts it. This guy takes off to Vegas having the time of his life (like having sex with two beautiful womans at the same time, and getting in trouble with a bouncer at an exclusive stripclub!). Anyway, this guy who is off to Vegas is known as a drug dealer, and when he is gone, this chick from the grocery store who had taken his shift decides to take over his duties so she can afford to pay her rent. Then one day, a gay couple, two guys are coming to the store to ask her if she could bring 20 pills of Ecstacy. She says yes, but what she doesn't know is that those guys are actually forced to set her up with a trap arranged by a police officer (who later on also turns out to be gay!).

You will see the story from boths perspective, both this chick and from the gay couples view. Luckily, the chick avoids getting caught, but gets in trouble with the drugdealer where she bought them. Because she had flushed the pills down the toilet, and won't be able to return them to this dealer. So, instead she gives him a bottle of vitamin pills. He doesn't realise this till their gone, and decides to look them up at this rave where they're going. While being there, this chick sells vitamins and aspirins to dorky teenagers who actually believes that its dope! I won't reveal how the whole story turns out, but I can guarantee that you will love this movie! It's a combination of laughs, action and drama.

Just when you thought you were safe, something new happens. I should perhaps mention that I was a bit dissapointed that the ND song "New" only appears for a short while in the background about five minutes into the movie. Then you have to wait till the end of the movie, at the ending scene where the songs starts from the beginning, and continues while the credit scrolls on the screen. So the good thing is that you could hear the whole song!

The expression "Go!" is used many times during the movie, and in different situations, and that's what the movie is named after. Without a doubt, I give this movie five stars out of five. It's a very exiting and emotional movie, which won't bore you one second. GREAT MOVIE; RUN TO YOUR LOCAL THEATRE AND SEE IT NOW!!!!
